Important! Joomla 1.5 and Internet Explorer 9 Compatability

If your website is built on the Joomla 1.5 platform, recent updates to Intenet Explorer (IE) 9 have caused problems in the ability to edit articles within your administration panel.

Solution #1:  Click on the Compatibility icon on the left side of your IE 9 address box near the top of the browser while using the Joomla administrator control panel.  This will correct all issues related to IE 9.

Solution #2:  Download and Install Mozilla Firefox, a free browser used by many.  The only adjustment you'll need to make using Mozilla, is the right click in the editor box isn't available.  You'll need to use:

  • ALT C to copy
  • ALT X to cut
  • ALT V to paste
